PIAA District 1 Quarterfinal Round. A 13-6 record earned the ladies a fifth seed and a bye into the quarterfinal round against fourth seed Marple Newtown. This game will be the first PIAA playoff game anyone on the roster will have played in - quite an accomplishment.
Their opponent has a track record of softball success having won the District 1 championship in 2006. Playing in the Central league they ended the 2008 regular season with a record of 14-4.
